I was born in Rimini, a small town on the Adriatic coast of Italy. For as long as I can remember, I’ve felt a deep love for the sea, whales, and dolphins. A passion that has guided every step of my life to this day.

My journey led me to encounter different species of cetaceans around the world while studying Marine Biology at the University of Guadalajara, Mexico.

It was in Tenerife where I found a place that completely captivated me. Its unique environment and extraordinary marine biodiversity deeply connected me with its most iconic residents: the short-finned pilot whales and bottlenose dolphins.

The sea gives us so much every day that I feel a strong responsibility to give back. That’s why I actively collaborate with local associations and universities with the goal of protecting and conserving this valuable ecosystem.

I’ve been working with cetaceans for 22 years, and every time I see them, I still get emotional—as if it were the very first time.
